Clear crystal, cut so cleanly that the pattern reads from every angle, forms the body of this covered bonbonniere. The lid rises to a faceted finial and is encircled by a gilt brass laurel wreath — a Neoclassical motif that has decorated confectionery boxes since the courts of the eighteenth century.
Gilt brass mounts wrap the lower edge and descend into four scrolled feet, holding the crystal above the table so light passes underneath. Handcrafted by Brass & Wood in Egypt and available in gold, antique gold, and silver-plated brass.
