Rooted in the grandeur of the French Louis XV court, this bombe commode captures the flowing asymmetry and romantic exuberance of the Rococo era. Its swelling serpentine silhouette, cabriole legs with gilded paw feet, and dramatically curved drawer fronts echo the finest commodes crafted for Versailles' noble chambers.

Hand-Painted Artistry

Each piece is individually hand-painted by Brass & Wood master artisans in Egypt. Delicate pink roses, gilded arabesque tendrils, and feathery scrolls are rendered directly onto the ivory lacquer surface, ensuring that no two commodes are ever identical. The painted motifs are then sealed beneath protective lacquer to preserve their vibrancy for generations.

Materials & Finish

Crafted from solid hardwood, the commode is finished in a warm ivory lacquer highlighted with gold-toned painted detailing. Cast brass hardware — including elaborately sculpted corner mounts, escutcheons, and drawer pulls featuring acanthus-leaf and foliate motifs — is finished in antique gold to complement the creamy ground.
