The pierced brass gallery rail encircles the upper tray with jeweller's precision — each opening cleanly struck, the rail itself lacquered gold to resist tarnish. Turned mahogany-finish columns connect the two tiers, flanked by two large decorative spoke wheels in lacquered brass and rubber, with two smaller castors at the rear for mobility. A cast brass bottle holder ring sits between the columns for practical use.
