Design & Inspiration

Set a crystal candy box on a table and the room rearranges itself around it. The cut glass catches every angle of light and scatters it in small constellations across the surface below — yet the eye is always drawn upward to the soaring acanthus-scroll brass finial that crowns the lid. This piece is faithfully reproduced in the tradition of Louis XV decorative arts, when French craftsmen discovered that even the smallest object on a table could carry the full weight of Rococo ornament.

Materials & Craftsmanship

The body is formed from thick, deeply cut crystal, its surface worked in a dense geometric-floral lattice that breaks light into prismatic detail across every face. The brass mounts — base cradle, three cabriole-style legs, and the lidded finial — are cast and hand-finished, with naturalistic relief: rose clusters wrap the base band, and the finial resolves into a freely curling acanthus-and-scroll form that reads as pure movement. The lid sits cleanly on the crystal body, its own surface carrying the same cut-glass pattern as the bowl. Every joint between metal and crystal is precise, with no gap or visible adhesive — a mark of controlled craft rather than rushed assembly.

Dimensions & Details

The piece carries a total weight of 4 kg, reflecting the density of the crystal body and the solid brass mounts. The three splayed cabriole legs keep it stable on any flat surface while lifting the bowl to a refined display height. Dimensions are available upon request. Available in multiple brass finish variants to match your interior palette.

Handcrafted in Egypt

Made by Brass & Wood artisans in Egypt, this candy box draws on a lineage of metalwork and glasswork craft that runs deep in the region's decorative tradition. Each brass component is individually cast and dressed by hand; the crystal is selected for clarity and depth of cut. The result is an object that earns its place on a dining table, a sideboard, or a reception console — not as background decoration, but as a focal point that invites a closer look.
