Rosella Banquette Bench in Natural Linen and Ivory Patina

A long, low banquette with a generously padded seat wrapped in natural woven linen, its edges rolling softly over a carved frame in a pale ivory patina. The seat rail is deliberately left plain, so the eye travels instead to the corners, where small carved rosette blocks mark each join, and down the fluted, tapered legs that lift the whole bench clear of the floor on slim turned feet.

The frame is carved and joined by hand, then the upholstery is stretched and set panel by panel before the wood is finished in ivory and gently distressed. Handcrafted by Brass & Wood in Egypt, it is made for the foot of a bed, the threshold of a dressing room, or a long wall under a window — a place to sit for a moment without adding bulk to the room.
