4-Seat Contemporary Geometric Hardwood & Linen Salon Sofa
Design Inspiration
This extraordinary 4-seat salon sofa draws its soul from the timeless vocabulary of Islamic geometric art fused with a bold contemporary silhouette. The striking hardwood base panels are adorned with dynamic white-inlaid criss-cross geometric lines that evoke the faceted brilliance of crystal, while the left armrest panel features an intricate Islamic arabesque lattice screen — a nod to the mashrabiya heritage of Egyptian craftsmanship. A muted teal side table integrated at one end adds a refined architectural counterpoint.
Materials & Upholstery
The generously proportioned seat and back cushions are upholstered in a fine neutral linen-blend fabric in warm grey, offering both tactile comfort and understated elegance. Accent cushions in rust-terracotta and soft patterned textiles layer richness onto the composition. The structural frame is built from solid hardwood, finished in a deep medium-brown varnish that accentuates the natural grain of the timber. White metallic inlay lines run across the base, side panels, and armrest in a bold geometric pattern.
Craftsmanship
Every element of this sofa is handcrafted at the Brass & Wood atelier in Egypt. The geometric inlay work is executed with precision by master artisans, ensuring crisp, clean lines across every facet of the wooden frame. The lattice panel on the backrest is hand-carved, reflecting centuries of Islamic woodworking tradition. Cushions are individually tailored and fitted for a clean, bespoke finish.
