The base rises from a four-footed rocaille plinth, each foot scrolled and weighted to anchor the composition visually. The ivory pleated fabric shade is proportioned to balance the ornate base without competing with it — its gathered silk-effect surface softening the lamplight into an even, warm diffusion.
