French Ribbon-Crest Wall Plaque with Hand-Painted Floral Oval
LE 9,100.00
An oval panel painted with a soft bouquet of roses sits at the centre of a hand-carved giltwood frame. Above it, a ribbon bow and quiver crest — the Louis XVI vocabulary of love tokens — and below, a spray of carved laurel gathering into a fluted torch that tapers to a point.
Hung alone it reads as a single elegant gesture; hung as a pair with its mirrored companion it frames a console or a bed. Handcrafted by Brass & Wood in Egypt.
