Louis XV Salon Armchair with Cane Back & Nailhead Linen Upholstery
Design Inspiration
Rooted in the elegance of 18th-century French court style, this Louis XV salon armchair captures the flowing curves and natural warmth that define the Rococo sensibility. Graceful cabriole legs, a shaped cartouche back, and scrolled armrests evoke the refined pastoral opulence of Versailles, reinterpreted for the modern luxury interior.
Materials & Upholstery
The frame is constructed from kiln-dried solid hardwood, finished in a warm natural tone with a hand-rubbed satin surface that allows the grain's character to breathe. The back panel is fitted with hand-woven natural cane for airiness and authentic period detail. The seat, back cushion, and armrest pads are upholstered in premium ivory linen, finished with a single row of antique brass nailhead trim that traces every contour of the base.
Craftsmanship
Every chair is handcrafted at the Brass & Wood atelier in Egypt. Artisans hand-shape each cabriole leg, weave the cane panel individually, and apply the nailhead trim stud by stud — a process that ensures no two chairs are identical and that each one carries the quiet confidence of genuine handcraft. Cushions are filled with high-density foam for lasting comfort and support.
