Materials

Crafted from premium solid walnut and rosewood veneers, the piece showcases hand-cut marquetry panels depicting blooming roses and trailing foliage in contrasting warm-toned timbers. Richly polished to a deep, lustrous finish, the wood surfaces are accentuated by cast ormolu brass mounts — including floral drawer pulls, acanthus corner appliqués, and gilded sabots crowning each slender cabriole leg.

Craftsmanship

Every detail is executed by Brass & Wood's master artisans in Egypt, who employ traditional hand-joinery and hand-laid marquetry techniques passed down through generations. The serpentine top, shaped apron, and bowed drawer fronts are each individually fitted, ensuring flawless symmetry and a seamless surface that reflects centuries-old European cabinetmaking standards.
