Brass & Wood has faithfully reimagined this iconic form for the modern luxury living room, preserving every flourish of its historical character.

Materials & Upholstery

The sweeping frame is built from a solid hardwood core and finished with hand-applied gilding, giving it the warm, lustrous gold tone that defines Rococo furniture. The upholstery features a light blue damask-patterned fabric with delicate floral and scrollwork motifs woven into the textile, complemented by a curated set of scatter cushions in teal velvet, amber velvet, and blush linen — each adding depth and contrast to the composition.

Craftsmanship

Every element of this sofa is handcrafted by Brass & Wood's master artisans in Egypt. The carved crest, cabriole legs with scrolled feet, and undulating apron are shaped by hand, reflecting generations of classical woodworking tradition. The gilding is applied in multiple layers to achieve depth and longevity, while the upholstery is hand-tacked for a precise, lasting finish.
