Inspired by the grandeur of 18th-century French court furniture, this demilune commode embodies the graceful curves and ornate elegance of the Louis XV era. Its half-moon silhouette, cabriole legs, and lavish gilded bronze mounts capture the spirit of Versailles in every detail.

Materials

Constructed from solid mahogany with hand-laid kingwood parquetry banding, the piece is crowned with a genuine emperador marble top in warm amber and ivory tones. All hardware and decorative mounts are cast in solid brass with an antique gold finish, replicating authentic ormolu craftsmanship.

Drawers & Storage

Three generously sized drawers offer practical storage while maintaining the piece's sculptural elegance. Each drawer front is framed with intricate brass inlay borders and fitted with hand-cast brass pull handles featuring foliate and cartouche motifs.

Craftsmanship

Every piece is entirely handcrafted by master artisans at Brass & Wood's Cairo atelier, where traditional European joinery techniques are preserved alongside meticulous hand-finishing, ensuring each commode is a singular work of decorative art.
