The design references the era's hallmark vocabulary — ebonised solid wood frames, gilded carved ornaments, and laurel-motif friezes — all handcrafted by master artisans in Egypt to the exacting standards of classical European furniture.

Materials & Finishes

The sofa's architectural frame is constructed from solid hardwood finished in a rich ebonised lacquer, offset by hand-applied gold-leaf gilding on carved acanthus and bun-foot details. The back panel is veneered in warm burled wood, framed by precision brass chain-link inlay borders in dark and red tones, lending depth and opulence to every angle. Front corner medallions in antique gold brass add a regal finishing touch.

Upholstery & Comfort

Seating surfaces and back cushions are upholstered in a silver-grey damask fabric with a tonal all-over pattern, exuding restrained luxury. Generously filled scatter cushions in coordinating ivory and grey tones invite both comfort and visual balance.
