The frame is constructed from premium solid hardwood, hand-carved into scrolling acanthus leaves, floral rosettes, and cabriole leg reliefs, then finished with brilliant gold-leaf gilding that contrasts elegantly against the deep, richly toned wood stain. The upholstery is rendered in cream velvet — soft to the touch yet resilient — wrapped smoothly over the seat cushions, backrest, and arms, finished with a delicate fringed cord trim at the cushion edges.
