Frame & Finish

The sofa is built upon a robust solid wood frame, shaped and carved entirely by hand. A meticulous gold-leaf gilding process gives the frame its luminous warm-gold finish — applied in multiple layers and hand-burnished for depth and brilliance. The carved armrests, shaped as scrolled terminals, and the six slender fluted legs reflect the restraint and precision that define Louis XVI craftsmanship.

Upholstery & Comfort

Every surface is upholstered in a sophisticated sage-green damask fabric whose subtly raised floral motifs shimmer gently in changing light. The generous seat cushions and five matching scatter cushions ensure exceptional comfort without compromising the sofa's stately silhouette. Cushions are removable for ease of care.
