Brass & Wood Neoclassical Inlaid Wood Dining Table
Design & Inspiration
The Brass & Wood Neoclassical Inlaid Dining Table draws its inspiration from the grand dining halls of the Neoclassical era, where symmetry, refined proportion, and the beauty of natural wood were celebrated in equal measure. The dual pedestal base, with its bold tapering silhouette and scrolled feet, evokes the architectural grandeur of Empire and late Neoclassical interiors.
Materials & Finishes
The table top showcases a masterful composition of multi-wood marquetry: a warm burr-wood central field is framed by contrasting dark and light stringing bands, creating a striking visual border. The pedestal bases echo this decorative language with matching inlaid panels featuring brass and ebonized stringing. The overall finish is a rich, hand-rubbed polish that deepens the natural grain and color contrasts.
Craftsmanship
Every element is handcrafted by Brass & Wood artisans in Cairo, combining traditional marquetry techniques with precise joinery. The cross-shaped stretcher beneath each pedestal ensures structural stability while maintaining visual elegance. Fine brass stringing details are hand-fitted into the wood to achieve seamless integration.
