Classical Porcelain Vase Table Lamp - Blue Floral Hand-Painted with Ornate Brass Base
Classical Porcelain Vase Table Lamp - Blue Floral Hand-Painted with Ornate Brass Base
Design & Inspiration
Drawing from the opulent tradition of 18th-century French Sèvres porcelain, this classical table lamp is a statement piece that brings aristocratic elegance into the modern interior. The urn-shaped body is adorned in a rich sky-blue glaze, hand-painted with a central oval medallion bursting with delicate floral bouquets — roses, wildflowers, and foliage rendered in vivid polychrome. Elaborate gilded scrollwork and leaf motifs frame the medallion and cascade across the shoulders and neck of the vase, creating a visual richness befitting the grandest of rooms.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Each lamp is individually crafted by Egyptian artisans with deep expertise in classical decorative arts. The vase body is formed from high-fire porcelain, then meticulously hand-painted and kiln-fired to seal the intricate decoration. The ornate footed base and collar hardware are cast from solid brass, hand-chased and finished to a high polish. The generous off-white pleated fabric shade diffuses warm light beautifully, complementing the blue and gold palette of the base. This is a luxury handcrafted lighting piece that doubles as a collector's art object.
