Rooted in the opulent courts of 18th-century France, this round commode captures the playful elegance of the Louis XV Rococo era. Its curvaceous silhouette, cabriole legs with gilded sabots, and scrolled apron speak directly to the asymmetric grace that defined the period.

Exceptional Materials

The body is constructed from solid mahogany and finished with hand-applied burlwood veneer panels, framed by precision-cut satinwood banding. A beveled protective glass top crowns the piece, while cast antique brass hardware — including acanthus-leaf column mounts, decorative drawer pulls, and ornate foot caps — adds a luminous warmth throughout.

Masterful Craftsmanship

Each piece is entirely handcrafted in Brass & Wood's Cairo atelier by artisans trained in classical European joinery. The three drawers are fitted with hand-cut dovetail joints for lasting durability, and every brass element is individually cast, chased, and hand-polished to an antique gold finish before being secured to the frame.
