Design & Inspiration

Rooted in the grandeur of Neoclassical Europe, this marble pedestal column channels the architectural vocabulary of ancient Rome and Greece as reinterpreted during the Empire and late Louis XVI periods. The fluted column shaft, square-stepped plinth, and Corinthian capital compose a silhouette of timeless dignity, perfectly suited to displaying sculpture, vases, or objets d'art in a refined interior.

Materials & Finish

Crafted from genuine rose-veined marble, each pedestal exhibits a unique pattern of warm blush and ivory striations. The crowning Corinthian capital and the torus collar at the column base are cast in solid brass with a warm antique-gold finish, while the plinth face features a hand-applied brass medallion depicting a classical urn flanked by acanthus figures — a hallmark of Empire decorative vocabulary.

Craftsmanship

Every pedestal is handcrafted by Brass & Wood artisans in Egypt, who combine traditional stone-cutting techniques with precision brass casting and hand-chasing to deliver an heirloom-quality piece. The multi-tiered square base adds visual weight and stability, while the seamless marriage of stone and metal speaks to the workshop's uncompromising standards.
