Rococo Cobalt & Gold Floral Medallion Ceramic Cachepot
Design Inspiration
Rooted in the opulence of 18th-century European Rococo tradition, this cachepot draws from the grandeur of porcelain decorative arts once treasured in the palaces of Versailles and Vienna. The ornate gilded cartouche framing each floral medallion echoes the asymmetrical elegance and romantic naturalism that define the Rococo movement.
Materials & Finish
Crafted from fine ceramic and finished in a rich cobalt blue glaze, the body provides a dramatic backdrop for the hand-applied gold scrollwork. Each face features a peach-toned oval medallion showcasing a painterly bouquet of roses and mixed blooms, rendered in soft antique hues that evoke classical European porcelain traditions.
Craftsmanship
Every piece is carefully shaped, glazed, and decorated by hand within the Brass & Wood atelier in Egypt. The gilded Rococo border motifs are applied with meticulous detail, ensuring each cachepot carries the character and refinement of a true artisan replica. The square tapered form adds architectural structure while remaining an elegant decorative statement.
