Materials & Upholstery

The pouf is upholstered in a lustrous ice-blue silk fabric that shimmers softly in natural and artificial light. A precision-woven ribbon band encircles the body, providing a refined transition between the structured cylindrical form and the long, flowing fringe that falls gracefully to the floor. The fill provides a comfortable yet supportive seat.

Craftsmanship

Each piece is handcrafted by Brass & Wood artisans in Egypt, drawing on classical European upholstery traditions. The fringe is meticulously hand-applied strand by strand, ensuring uniformity and movement. The woven trim band is hand-stitched for a seamless, polished finish that stands up to close inspection.
