Materials & Finish

Crafted entirely from kiln-dried solid mahogany, each component is hand-turned and fitted together with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery. The warm reddish-brown finish is sealed with multiple coats of hand-rubbed lacquer to enhance the natural figuring of the wood. Antique brass hardware — including the reeded side handles, decorative column rings, and smooth-rolling casters — is cast in solid brass and hand-burnished for an aged, lustrous tone.
