Louis XV Marble & Marquetry Table Set of 3

A dialogue of two Louis XV crafts in one set. The coffee table wears a luminous slab of veined white-and-grey marble above a solid wood frame in warm ivory lacquer, its knees carved with cartouches and acanthus leaves. The corner tables answer in mahogany and fruitwood marquetry — roses and scrolling vines at the heart of each cartouche-form top — trimmed with hand-chased antique brass mounts on sweeping cabriole legs.

This three-piece set brings together one marble top coffee table and two matching marquetry corner tables in the full Rococo spirit of eighteenth-century France.
