Materials & Craftsmanship

The lamp body is formed from hand-blown or pressed cobalt glass with vertical ribbing — a technique that both strengthens the vessel and creates a play of faceted shadow along its surface. The brass elements are cast and hand-finished, with the characteristic warm gold tone of ormolu mounts: the collar at the neck, the mid-body girdle with its cast floral garland, and the elaborately pierced and scroll-footed base platform.
