Brass & Wood Neoclassical Carved Wood Dining Table
Design & Inspiration
Rooted in the Neoclassical tradition of Louis XVI France, this Brass & Wood dining table embodies the refined restraint and elegant symmetry that defined late-18th-century European court furniture. The apron is adorned with flowing hand-carved acanthus scroll relief framed by a continuous rope-twist moulding, a hallmark of the period's decorative vocabulary.
Materials & Finish
Crafted from solid wood with a warm honey-toned finish, the table exhibits a smooth satin surface on the top and richly detailed carved elements throughout the apron and legs. The corner blocks are enhanced with carved lion-mask or floral rosette motifs, adding a distinguished focal point to each corner.
Craftsmanship
Every detail is executed by skilled Egyptian artisans trained in classical European woodcarving traditions. The tapered, fluted legs are hand-turned and carved, and the rope-twist border is individually routed to achieve crisp, period-accurate relief depth.
