The frame is constructed from a solid wood base lavishly finished with gold leaf gilding, lending it the warm luminosity characteristic of period French pieces. Craftsmanship

Each piece is individually handcrafted in Egypt by Brass & Wood's master artisans. The cabriole legs are hand-carved and shaped before gilding, and the apron is adorned with classically inspired foliate and shell motifs that define the Louis XV vocabulary.
