Materials & Finish

The shaft, capital slab, and octagonal base are carved from richly veined verde marble, celebrated for its deep forest-green hue and natural white inclusions. The Corinthian capital and base collar are crafted in solid brass, finished in warm antique gilt bronze — each acanthus leaf and volute scroll hand-chased to museum-quality definition.

Craftsmanship

Every element is shaped, fitted, and polished entirely by hand in the Brass & Wood atelier. The fluted column shaft is turned and hand-finished to achieve crisp, even grooves. The gilt brass fittings are cast using traditional lost-wax techniques, then hand-chased and lacquered to preserve their luminous finish for generations.
