Design Inspiration

Rooted in the grandeur of Neoclassical European architecture, this column pedestal draws directly from the ancient Roman tradition of Corinthian columns. The fluted shaft rises elegantly from a stepped square plinth, crowned by an elaborate acanthus-leaf capital rendered in brilliant brass — evoking the palatial interiors of 18th-century European estates and imperial salons.

Materials & Finish

The body is crafted from richly veined cream travertine marble, lending each piece a unique natural character. Gleaming antique-gold brass hardware adorns the capital, the collar rings at the shaft's base, and the decorative medallions on each face of the plinth. The warmth of the marble paired with the luminosity of the brass creates a timeless chromatic harmony.

Craftsmanship

Every pedestal is individually handcrafted in Egypt by the artisans of Brass & Wood, who combine centuries-old stone-working traditions with meticulous metal casting and hand-finishing techniques.
