Louis XV Gilded Corner Table with Marble Top
Design Inspiration
Rooted in the elegance of 18th-century French court furniture, this Louis XV corner table is a faithful homage to the Rococo ideal of graceful asymmetry and natural ornamentation. Every curve, every carved flourish speaks of a salon designed for refined conversation and quiet luxury.
Materials & Finish
The frame is constructed from a solid wood base lavishly finished with gold leaf gilding, lending it the warm luminosity characteristic of period French pieces. The tabletop is dressed in a veined marble slab, its cool surface providing an elegant counterpoint to the warmth of the gilded wood beneath.
Craftsmanship
Each piece is individually handcrafted in Egypt by Brass & Wood's master artisans. The cabriole legs are hand-carved and shaped before gilding, and the apron is adorned with classically inspired foliate and shell motifs that define the Louis XV vocabulary.
Placement & Styling
Designed to nestle elegantly into a living room corner, this table pairs beautifully with a matching settee or bergère. It serves equally as an accent table beside a sofa or as a statement centrepiece in a classically furnished salon.
