Louis XVI Mahogany & Gilt Dining Buffet
Design & Inspiration
Rooted in the refined elegance of the French Louis XVI period, this dining buffet captures the neoclassical spirit with strict symmetry, slender tapered legs capped in brass sabots, and a richly figured flame-mahogany facade. The ornate mirror option crowns the piece with carved gilt scrollwork, transforming it into a focal statement for any formal dining room.
Materials
Premium flame-cut mahogany veneers radiate a natural feathered grain across each cabinet door, framed by solid wood borders with brass-inlaid stringing. Fluted gilt-brass friezes run the full length of the apron, while solid brass escutcheons and handles provide authentic period hardware. Tapered legs terminate in polished brass caps for durability and style.
Craftsmanship
Every buffet is handcrafted by master woodworkers using traditional joinery techniques. Doors are hung on precision brass hinges for smooth, silent operation. Interior shelving is fully adjustable to accommodate tableware, linens, and serving pieces of all sizes.
